Your vessel’s insurance company may ask for a Condition & Valuation Survey to show the sea worthiness of the vessel. Interface Marine is listed with all major Insurance Companies offering Yacht or Boat Insurance. The survey includes an inspection of the vessel’s structural and mechanical condition. Below the waterline inspections can be performed out of the water or by certified divers. A detailed industry standard report is produced including digital photographs and recommendations. A valuation is made based on the framework laid down by the IVSC-International Valuations Standards Council including the present market conditions and demand, the vessel’s overall condition and a comparative analysis of the same model or similar vessels recently sold or advertised for sale.
