Phil Duffy
Lead Surveyor IIMS | ARINA | Expert Witness
Phil has over 20 years of full-time experience surveying high-value sail and power yachts, ranging from small craft to superyachts. His expertise includes pre-purchase and insurance surveys, new-build and refit technical oversight. He is also a qualified marine valuer and expert witness, and is certified to carry out MCA SCV2 coding and tonnage examinations for vessels of all red ensign registries.
Faith Gibbie
Interiors Consultant
Faith brings over 20 years’ experience in the yachting industry, having worked as a Chief Stewardess and Interior Trainer on charter and private yachts from 42m to 89m. Her expertise includes shipyard refits and new builds, interior surveys, and inventory management across Europe and the United States.
Hugh Bristow
Electrical & GMDSS Consultant Surveyor
Hugh has over 40 years’ experience in the marine world including the Merchant Navy. He is a qualified marine electrician and radio surveyor; he has surveyed some of the largest superyachts afloat. Hugh is a certified Lloyd’s of London service provider.
Robert Harvey
Marine Engine Consultant
Robert acts as our Marine Engineering Consultant and is qualified to carry out detailed engine surveys and advanced fault-finding. He is equipped with manufacturer-specific diagnostic software to perform ECU electronic analysis during sea trials, covering all major engine manufacturers including MTU, Caterpillar, MAN, and Volvo.
Bruce Powell
General Manager
Bruce has an extensive background in superyacht and aviation management. He is responsible for day-to-day operations, logistics and client liaison.
James Thatcher
Surveyor
James has over 25 years’ experience in the yachting industry, having worked as both crew and Captain/Engineer. With a background in mechanical engineering, he is currently studying towards a Diploma in Marine Surveying.
