Tonnage Measurement for Red Ensign Group

Interface Marine have accredited surveyors for UK and all Red Ensign Group registries through the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) Certifying Authority.

Once you have decided to register your yacht or boat, we will visit and measure your vessel and complete the necessary documentation to verify your vessel’s unique identity (Tonnage Survey). The documents are forwarded to the IIMS (CA) to check the tonnage certificate and to forward to the Flag State registrar for the issue of your Certificate of Registration. Not quite as simple as registering a car but we are here to guide and assist!
